Today is Thursday, but not just any Thursday, it’s Seersucker Thursday here on the Hill. Started in 1996 this tradition I have to say has quickly turned into a favorite (Thank you, Mother for letting me in on the secret). Men in seersucker suits with pink bow ties… yes, please. I am a sucker for the preppy (pun totally intended). Here are some of my favorite looks for the day!

Today, I am rockin’ the seersucker skirt as well. Minus the ribbon belt. Political and Preppy, I think God is watchin’ out for me!

How cute! I have never heard of such a thing but I love seersucker and I love how festive everyone looks on the Hill in it! Just hand them a mint julep/vodka gimlet and call it a day!
