A Feaster on Easter…

I am currently watching the Duke v. Butler basketball game. Duke is my all time favorite basketball team and it has been since the 6th grade. Just thought I would throw that out there before I get down to business.

I know today the post is incredibly late, but I assure you I will make up for it tomorrow with a timely and fabulous post. Blame it on Sweet Pea, she had a big ceremony I had to attend. Well, I guess you can’t blame her because I should have been on my game, and planned out blogging for the week. Anyway, how was everyone’s Easter? Mine was very low key. Hunter and I were Baptist for the day. Its very different than my Catholic mass I attend. For all you Baptists out there… y’all sing A LOT! So enthusiastic! It was a fun change of pace. Thanks for havin’ me! My Martha Stewart Mother sent me pictures of the Easter festivities I was missing out on in Texas, and y’all buckle your seat belts because she just put all of your dinner parties to shame. Wait for it…

The dining room. Notice the eggs hanging from the chandelier.

Butterflies are everywhere. From the place cards on the “birds nests” to the napkin rings. Its just too cute.

Butterflies on the chairs TOO! She overdoes herself!

The egg tree.

“Birds Nest” with Dove chocolate eggs.

Our entire home is decorated, and there is definitely no mistaking that its Spring at our house. Needless, to say the food was just as fabulous too, and our family had an incredible Easter feast. I really should compare her to a Paula Deen/ Martha Stewart mix because not only does she decorate her food is amazing as well. Shocking. I only showed you part of my marvelous Mom’s work… as the seasons change y’all will get more. Just wait for the 4th of July. Its her favorite. Isn’t my Mom so stinkin’ talented!! Its where all my creativity and interior design genius stems from. Well, Mom did you like your tribute? Am I your favorite?

Also, I have a bone to pick with all of my shy readers… WHERE ARE MY COMMENTS? I can’t post what y’all want if I don’t know what ya like! Come on stinkers. I didn’t want to have to feisty, but you forced me. The gloves are off and the claws are out.
