Delicious Duvets: Shabby Chic or Polished?

Lets just not talk about my lack of perfection for the last two weeks, please. I have absolutely no excuse, and I will do my best to redeem myself. Now, on to the goods. I’m getting two new houses this fall, and I’m in desperate need of beautiful bedding. Thats right, two! My parents are moving to the Big Easy! NOLA HERE WE COME! That being said, help me make a decision on a delightful duvet for the college house!

I am loving linen this summer! Its light and airy, but is it too Summer for a year around duvet? Restoration Hardware, you’ve captivated me this season. Well done.

I am thinking white, whether it be linen or not.

Or this satin stitched duvet? I might be leaning more toward this one. More versatile. Yes?

Pardon me, I didn’t even give y’all one inspiration or thought for my room. How rude of me! The pictures above are just for the duvet, not how I decorate. Nobody panic.

Inspiration Table:
Linen and polished cotton are mixed here, and just totally threw me off. Isn’t that just kick you in the crotch spit on your neck fantastic!

White with pale pink. It scream me, really.

We’re getting warmer. Love the all white bed.

I realize this isn’t the white bed we speak of, but this a feel I’m debating. Country French if you will.

What do you lovely people think? Country French traditional (linen) OR Lively yet Lovely (satin stitched)? Give it to me people. I need your opinions. I’ll let y’all have the weekend to discuss. Talk amongst ya, selves. I’m verklempt. I’ll give you a topic, duvet covers. Discuss.
Happy Weekend!
