Furry Friends

Maybe it is just that it’s -1212930028349328 degrees in Alabama right now, or that I’m just obsessed with themes of life, but right now I’m obsessed with rustic elegance, taxidermy and log cabins. Before you go and get all PETA on me, just look at what I speak of!

I’ve said it once, and I will say it again… I WILL have a zebra rug in my house.

Loving the faux deer mount and the cowhide chair! First apartment pipe dream.

This is such a “first house” married couple compromise. Feminine with the sassy wallpaper, yet oh so “manly” with the leather wing-backs. Straight into the apartment file.

I. L-O-V-E. This. Fireplace.

Elle Decor, you know the way to my heart…. and my very cold piggies.

Faabbbuuullllouuussss!

The beams. The lights. The hood. Yes, please.

I love this.  My group would definitely never leave. Two provisions, more chairs and foot stools.

So cozy. I would read so many books in that chaise.

Do you hear that too? Yes, those ARE Angels singing! Know why? ‘Cause it’s a tub from HEAVEN… duh.

Do you see my point now? Animals just go so well on a wall or as a rug. It isn’t animal abuse, it’s art! My winter home is going to be so warm and cozy. Rustic, logged,  and dermied. That’s right, as in tax. What are you furry friends doing to stay warm this winter?

my furry friends are now trying to stay away from you,so they don't end up stuffed and mounted on your wall or as rug you step on everyday!LOL!I love it!Winnie,Clemmie and Blondie think they would look cute in any of the above rooms, especially the Ralph room, but on the bed not the bench!LOL!

Thanks for the rustic inspiration! My mom is starting to gather ideas for our new cabin, and I sent her some of these. If you'd like to put together an inspiration board for a cabin getaway, I wouldn't stop you. 😉
