Lonny + Traditional Home = TRAD HOME

Two of my favorite magazines have come together and made a little magazine baby. Trad Home is the new online magazine which just launched! I have to say they made a great little magazine. I think they should make another. If you haven’t seen it yet ya gotta go take a look. Y’all. Will. Love. It.

It is true. I am in love with Louis XVI chairs. And they got their very own spread in Trad Home. Makes me proud, I tell ya.

Is this not to die for? Me? Loving red, blue, and black? Shocking.

“I loved breathing new life into this chic French Chair with my wildly overscaled and brightly hued Zanzibar fabric. the juxtaposition is so exciting and the chair becomes instantly modern again.”-Martyn Lawrence- Bullard Design
I couldn’t agree more. It is instantly modern and fresh.

Bright floral patterns have always made me really happy.  My Nana had an obnoxiously bright chintz fabric on her sofa when I was little, and even though I am wearing wore Umbro and played with the boys there was something about the brightness that I loved. This fabric reminds me of that, but a tad more modern chic than classic english country.

I love the blue. Reminds me of Kate Middleton’s dress… and ring. Not so sure about the snakes.

This is my product. I left the trim unpainted, but now I am wishing it was a bright pink or a glossy black. Or RED. Ooowwahh, I think I would like that. What do y’all think paint it or leave it au natural?

Have y’all had a chance to look at Trad Home yet? How is everyone’s week going? Drop your Kitty a line. I need some lovin’.

I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS!!! Thanks for the gem, now I know what I'll be doing all weekend 🙂

I think painting your chair could be lots of fun, but I really like how it complements the natural tones throughout the rest o your room. I vote leave it be, especially since you never know where you'll be taking it post graduation… yikes
