I Resolve To…

I’m a bit conflicted on whether or not to share my resolutions for 2014 because of this Ted Talk, but I’m going to not listen and share a few of mine anyway. I think it will keep me accountable and hopefully inspire a few others! I’ll keep the serious goals to myself, and share when I accomplish them, but for meow I here are a few of my resolutions for the new year:

1. Exercise 5 times a week. I genuinely thrive on working out, and I always hate when I’m out of my routine. I’m a creature of habit and endorphins. I must remember this in 2014.

2. Style my hair daily. I’m so lazy when it comes to my hair because it seems to take eons, but I always end up hating when I just throw it in my low chignon and walk out the door. I regret it every afternoon when I have happy hour plans and am rushing home to restyle my fur. This year, my fur is a priority.

3. Read more. I really enjoy reading, but I tend to have a.d.d. caused by FOMO (fear of missing out) when it comes to reading. I am always nervous there is something I’m missing like meeting Prince Harry or Adam Levine while sitting nuzzled in my nook reading. In 2014, Adam and Harry can wait while I finish my chapter.

4. Spend less, Save more. I have really large purchases and investments I’d like to make, and they won’t become a reality unless I stop buying all of the things. I mean really. Just stop.

5. Travel. I’ve usually very content in Houston, but lately I’ve been getting a bit of wunderlust! I’m planning a few big trips this year and could not be more excited about the situation.
