Annnndddd I’m over Winter. Are y’all? The “Arctic Blast” was a little much for this hairless kitty. Even though I am berry warm in my new Burberry wardrobe I so graciously received for Christmas, I’m a tad done with putting eight layers before I leave my toasty cottage. Okay fine, Winter makes me appreciate Spring. Whatever. Spring needs to stinkin’ SPRING already! Ya know why? I’m cold. Know why else? ‘Cause I get to sport these puppies….<\/span>

Remember when I wanted <\/span>TOMS<\/span><\/a>? Since then, I did a little soul searching and I asked myself, “Self, are you really granola enough to pull off the ever-so-trendy-hippie-TOMS that your bestie, Becca, sports like it’s her job?” I came to the conclusion that I <\/span>COULD<\/span><\/b> if I must.<\/span><\/div>\n

But I would have to sparkle. So I went to try them on with boyfriend. <\/span><\/div>\n

BAD MOVE.<\/span><\/b>  Here’s how that whole experience went:<\/span><\/div>\n

Me:<\/span><\/b> Hey Chachie, what do you think of me getting some TOMS?<\/span><\/div>\n
Hunter: <\/span><\/b>*Frown* Let me see them on….<\/span><\/div>\n
Me:<\/span><\/b> OKAY!!!! I popped those bad-boy’s out of the box and stuck ’em on my putties. <\/span><\/div>\n
Hunter:<\/span><\/b> *Snicker* You’re joking, right? <\/span><\/div>\n
Me: No! Aren’t they great! <\/span><\/div>\n
Hunter: <\/span><\/b>Sure. You can wear those when we <\/span>AREN’T<\/span><\/i><\/b> together. <\/span><\/div>\n

Crap. Discouraged, I put my golden-ticket shoes back and left empty-handed. <\/span><\/div>\n

Maybe I am a little too much of a label wh*re for TOMS<\/a>, but Tory on the other hand. Right up my alley! So I went with the espadrilles. My version of being an Austin hippie. Do y’all think I can still pull off the sparkle? Could he seriously be right? Are they a joke? Would I actually admit it if he was? Share your thoughts with the class.<\/span><\/div>\n
